ADSL Broadband Connections

ADSL services have made it easier and cheaper for companies to use the internet with high speed access. We offer a range of Managed ADSL Services through select partners that allow businesses to achieve high speed internet access of up to 24Mbps*.

Superior Connectivity

*Depends upon location, distance from exchange, line quality and availability. ADSL is a low cost high availability product, carrying no guarantees or Service Level Agreement. Please be aware of our Standard Terms and Conditions covering our ADSL products.

In addition to supplying superior ADSL connections, Ancar B provides business class router equipment tailored to client needs.Should a customer require VPN (Virtual Private Networking)Connectivity, Firewall Security, NAT (Network Address Translation) Port Forwarding and Browsing filters, these can be installed and supported by our Helpdesk Facility. Please note, if your business relies heavily on the internet to operate, you should consider further Internet products, such as ADSL Backup, SDSL, EFM, Leased Lines or Colocation. Ancar B Technologies can recommend  the right service for your business and ensure you remain operational at all times.

Bonded ADSL

Bonded ADSL** increases your internet connections speed by bonding multiple lines of the same speed together, then using them as a single connection. For example, 2x 8mb MAX ADSL products with 8Mb Downstream and 512Kb upstream, when bonded offer up to 16Mb downstream and 1Mb upstream.
**Note: With Bonded ADSL each bonded line only performs at the level of the worst line.

Load Balanced ADSL

Not to be confused with Bonded ADSL, with Load Balance ADSL data is separated and loaded across two ADSL connections. Although this does double the amount of bandwidth available, it does not double the speed.

Failover ADSL / Backup ADSL

To put it simply, two ADSL services are enabled, but only one is active. In the event that a single connection goes down, the secondary service takes over to ensure an internet connection is available.Failover/Backup ADSL*** services typically operate on separate networks to ensure that a network fault on one service does not terminate connectivity on both lines.
***Note there are types of fault that could effectively take out both lines so this service is not a guaranteed 100% Internet service.

SDSL

SDSL is a premium symmetric digital subscriber line (a broadband internet service) for businesses with high data or bandwidth requirements. With SDSL you can download and upload at the same speed without any impact on the other – that makes SDSL upload speeds up to 4 times faster than standard broadband connections.

Designed with the needs of business in mind, SDSL technology gives you a dedicated high-speed Internet connection that is fast, efficient and economical.
