My name is Andrew Barnes. I have 24 years experience in the supply and service of IT solutions to the SME sector and the managment of both sales and service teams. I started working as a IT consultant in 1986 and within 1 year project managed the implementation of large unix servers and promoted to service manager where I managed over 20 service engineers.

I eventually left to start Ancar B Technologies in October 1998, Ancar B Technologies quickly grew into a successful IT support and supply organisation to the SME sector. The company expanded and now has a headcount of over twenty members of staff servicing clients all over the country. In recent years, the company has added to its portfolio, providing Hosting, Collocation, Remote Back-up and Web Development services.

People describe me as a dynamic leader, passionate, customer focused and a great people person. Coupled with excellent sales and technical knowledge I provide consultancy to a number of IT partners and customers. I deliver great IT Infrastructure results by listening intently to the project brief, suggesting improvements and delivering.  Projects are delivered on time & under budget with little disruption to the day to day running of a business.

Out of work I enjoy skiing, football, golf, tennis, shooting and bike riding.

Shortly I aim to complete a 800 mile bike ride from Calais to Bilbao and help raise charity for Kirkwood and Cancer Research UK.
